We are excited to offer a Jr. NBA Basketball experience to our fabulous Gilbert community as soon as we find a location! The Jr. NBA is the official youth basketball participation program of the NBA. Our program will include a NBA reversible game jersey and matching NBA logo short. We plan to rent out a local indoor gym during the week to provide coaches and their team an indoor practice session for one hour each week.
We will offer this basketball program to Kindergarten - 8th graders. We will group teams together based on their current grade level. If a player wants to play up a grade level (example: athlete is a 6th grader, but wants to be on a 7th/8th grade team instead) that is up to the guardians of the player. A player may never play down a grade level. No exceptions. Teams may be in divisions with multiple grade levels (example: Kindergarten/1st grade, 2nd/3rd grade, 4th/5th/6th grade, 7/8th grade). This will be dependent on how many teams register each season.
